Pastor Deborah Grundy

Pastor Deborah Naomi Grundy, affectionately known as Pastor D, has a deep passion for sharing the love of Jesus Christ and helping people grow in faith, purpose, and spiritual maturity. She currently serves as the Pastor of Souls for Christ Deliverance Center, where she leads with integrity, compassion, and a servant’s heart for people.

Pastor Deborah has faithfully served at Souls for Christ Deliverance Center for over 35 years, dedicating more than three decades to ministry. Throughout her journey, she has served in numerous capacities, including Prison Ministry, Hospital Ministry, Children’s Ministry, and Nursing Home Ministry, as well as teaching, preaching, pastoral care, leadership, missions, and youth ministry. Through prayerful leadership and Spirit-led teaching, Pastor Deborah seeks to equip believers to live out their faith both within the church and beyond its walls.

In 2020, Pastor Deborah stepped into the role of pastor following the passing of her beloved husband, Pastor Kenny Grundy, who made his transition that year. With strength, faith, and unwavering trust in God, she answered the call to continue the vision and work they shared, leading the church with grace, compassion, and spiritual depth.

In addition to her pastoral calling, Pastor Deborah has long carried a strong passion for the medical profession. She has served in executive leadership roles at major hospitals, bringing excellence, integrity, and compassion to healthcare administration. This background uniquely shapes her pastoral approach, allowing her to minister holistically—addressing the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of those she serves.

Her favorite scripture, Jeremiah 29:11, serves as the foundation of her faith and leadership: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord… This promise continues to guide her ministry and encourages the congregation to trust God’s plan, even through life’s transitions.

Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Deborah is a devoted mother and a proud Nana. She treasures time spent with her family and is known as a very present, hands-on grandmother. Her favorite pastimes include traveling and enjoying meaningful moments with loved ones—values that reflect her heart for connection, love, and togetherness.

Pastor Deborah remains committed to honoring the legacy of Pastor Kenny Grundy while faithfully leading Souls for Christ Deliverance Center forward in hope, purpose, resilience, and unwavering faith.
